A multi-pronged approach is adopted. ‘Best interest of the child’ is the underlying principle for all interventions that Ehsaas makes. Each child is treated as an individual. In re-integrating the children, the role of the family is the most imperative aspect and the importance cannot be undermined. Thus family re-unification is a priority area for which the organization works. Quasi- institutional approach is adopted where family unification is not possible. Since children do not live in isolation, the organization actively works at society and policy levels too.
